Welcome to theGOdesk! This service was created to meet all of your alumni volunteer web application training and troubleshooting needs. On this page you will find everything you need to gain access and keep the momentum rolling.

  • How to Get Access

    1. First, determine which applications, listed on this page below, you need access to. If you are unsure, check with your club/class president or your staff liaison. Or, emailĀ theGOdesk@georgetown.eduĀ with your name, club/class, and your position, office, or title.
    2. Review the training materials below for the applications you are requesting and review the confidentiality agreement atĀ alumni.georgetown.edu/confidentiality.
    3. Complete theĀ Alumni Volunteer Advancement Applications Access Request Form. The form only takes a few minutes to complete.
    4. Staff from theGOdesk team will email you within three full business days with your login credentials or to address any issues with your request. (Please note that if you are granted Email Marketing access, your login credentials will be accompanied by brief instructions for sending a test email that theGOdesk will review first, so plan extra time before you can send to your club/class.)
  • Email Marketing (“Marketing Cloud”) create and send club/class emails

    If you are a new user, review the documentation or watch the videos in the appropriate playlist below to be trained in ā€œContent Builder.ā€

  • Alumni Event Calendar

    To add your club/class event to the alumni calendar and your club/class page, training or access is no longer needed. Simply emailĀ clubevents@georgetown.eduĀ with your iModules URL, and we will add your event to the calendar within two business days. If your event does not have registration, email the basic event details: event name; a short summary; time/date; location name and address; and any additional details you’d like to include.
