About Women of Georgetown

The mission of Women of Georgetown is to connect alumni with each other and with the university, cultivating the next generation of leaders through inspired, leadership-focused events and facilitated conversations showcasing alumni pathways, stories, and successes. Through this initiative, we hope to foster meaningful and long-lasting ties for alumni by creating opportunities for connection through thoughtful programs and offerings.

History of Women of Georgetown and Women’s Forum

The Women of Georgetown Initiative has been in existence since 2012. In 2022, the initiative began a renewed focus on building meaningful relationships through salon dinners and the biennial Women’s Forum. The first university Women’s Forum was held in 2018 and has a long-standing partnership between the university’s Alumni Association and the Law Center. Prior to 2018, the annual event had been held for Law Center alumnae and students, since 1992. In addition to 2018, the forum has been hosted in person in 2019 and 2024 and virtually in 2021.
