  • Meet the Chair

As a proud graduate of Georgetown’s School of Medicine class of 1993, I am honored to now serve as Chair of the Medical Alumni Board (MAB). After three years of experiencing the challenge of connecting in person, I realized how precious and important our relationships are with each other and our beloved school. Georgetown’s commitment to foster a life-long community is what inspired me to accept the opportunity to prioritize and optimize our ability to connect with each other and make positive impacts on future generations of doctors, which ultimately is our legacy.

There are many ways for alumni to get involved with the Medical School. The Office of Advancement is a great place to start if you’re looking for opportunities to volunteer, you can sign up to be host for the Dine with a Doc program, participate in student mentoring programs such as CURA, sponsor a white coat, get involved with the MAB leadership, and so much more. Please do not hesitate to reach out to gumcengagement@georgetown.edu or to me at dsk5@georgetown.edu for more information.
