Title:Georgetown University Film Festival 2017

The 3rd Annual
Georgetown University Film Festival (GUFF17)
is coming to campus!

When: April 6-7
Where: Film Screening Room located above the Healey Family Student Center
GUFF17, which is entirely student organized, will open with LoveTrue, a genre-bending documentary directed by Alma Ha’rel that follows three complicated real-life relationships as they unfold in distinct corners of the country.

GUFF17 closes with Kirsten Johnson’s Cameraperson, which exposes her role behind the camera as she reaches into the vast trove of footage that she has shot over decades around the world. What emerges is a visually bold memoir and a revelatory interrogation of the power of the camera. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Johnson herself. Both opening and closing nights will be preceded by musical performances and followed by celebratory receptions.
