Sarah Crennan steers all sports content for Yahoo, overseeing the sprawling media giant’s video, editorial and social-media teams and building strategy within Oath and parent company Verizon. Crennan joined Yahoo in early 2017 after a six-year tenure at AOL, where among other roles she was senior director of content partnerships and business development. But not all of Crennan’s sports-related storytelling happens behind the scenes. She has carried a passion for lacrosse since playing attack for Georgetown, and she continues to work as a freelance color commentator and analyst, covering NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse games for CBS Sports and ESPN, among other outlets.
