Program Itinerary*

Day 1 | Sunday, February 1 – DEPART HOME CITY | PHILIPSBURG, ST. MAARTEN | EMBARK | D
Depart for Philipsburg, St. Maarten.  Arrive at Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten and transfer to the Sea Cloud Spirit. Settle in, unpack and explore the ship.

This evening, attend a Welcome Briefing and lifeboat drill, followed by the first of many delicious dinners on board the ship.

Day 2 | Monday, February 2 – GUSTAVIA, ST. BARTHELEMY B | L | R | D
This morning, and every morning aboard the ship, savor a delicious breakfast to start the day. The ship will arrive in Gustavia, St. Barthelemy, where you will disembark for your chosen excursion.

Traveler’s Choice | Choose ONE of the following included excursions
• Snorkeling in Marine Park. Remote Colombier Beach has no public road access; it can only be reached on foot or by boat. The marine park off the beach’s shore is further protected by the bay’s geography and a fishing ban. For all these reasons, this marine park is one of the best snorkeling spots in the Caribbean. In the calm, turquoise water, there is some sea grass — where you might see sea turtles, stingrays and barracudas — and also rocky shelves that harbor sea urchins, starfish, moray eels and lobsters. And, of course, there are beautiful fish throughout. Enjoy discovering the kaleidoscope of underwater life! (Active)
• Panoramic Tour. Enjoy a scenic drive around the tiny, beautiful island of St Bart’s, with its whitesand beaches, forested hills, red-roofed houses and seaside villages. The island, an overseas French collectivity, exudes luxury and a certain je ne sais quoi. Explore stops at picture-perfect Saint-Jean Bay and Lorient Beach, which features coral-ringed pools perfect for swimming.
(Moderate)

Return to the ship and tuck in to a delicious lunch on board. As we sail for Dominica this afternoon, relax on board and enjoy a lecture or the ship’s many amenities.

Welcome Reception: Join your fellow travelers for a Captain’s Welcome Reception and Dinner on board the ship this evening.

Day 3 | Tuesday, February 3 – CABRITS, DOMINICA B | L | D
Watch for stunning views over breakfast as we spend the morning cruising toward Dominica, nicknamed the “Nature Isle of the Caribbean.” Perhaps spend some time in the gym or spa this morning. Disembark after lunch for your choice excursion.

Traveler’s Choice | Choose ONE of the following included excursions
• Cabrits National Park. Hike some of the lush trails in this 1,313-acre park, which encompasses protected habitats ranging from rainforests to coral reefs. On a guided walk, keep your eyes peeled for exotic flora, fauna and fantastic vistas. Explore Fort Shirley, a historic fort built by the British in 1765 that has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the story of the mutiny of African slave soldiers that led to all slave soldiers of the British Empire being freed in 1807. Enjoy panoramic views of Prince Rupert Bay. (Active)
• Indian River Rowboat Excursion. Ride in a rowboat along the Indian River, which runs from deep in the tropical forest out to the Caribbean Sea. You’ll see mangroves, the iconic local bwa mang trees, dozens of exotic birds and possibly crabs, fish and iguanas. Glide past the “witch’s house” where scenes from “Pirates of the Caribbean” were filmed. (Moderate)

Return to the ship to savor a relaxing dinner on board.

Day 4 | Wednesday, February 4 – PORT ELIZABETH, BEQUIA, GRENADINES B | L | D
This morning after breakfast, spend some free time relaxing on board, reading a book or taking in the views. After lunch, disembark for an excursion in beautiful Bequia (pronounced Beck-way), one of the islands in the Grenadines island chain. Bequia Island Tour. On a driving tour, explore this lovely island. Take in panoramic views of the Grenadines from Mount Pleasant and stroll through Port Elizabeth’s vibrant markets. (Mild) Return to the ship for dinner on board. Alternatively, you can spend the evening ashore and make your own dinner plans. Tonight, the ship sails for St. Lucia.

Day 5 | Thursday, February 5 – SOUFRIÈRE, ST. LUCIA B | L | D
Wake this morning to breakfast on board and stunning tropical views of St. Lucia. Spend the morning relaxing on board. Disembark after lunch for your choice excursion. Two famous, dramatically pointed mountains stand guard over the lush, idyllic island of St. Lucia. Gros and Petit Piton are actually (extinct) volcanic cones and have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Traveler’s Choice | Choose ONE of the following included excursions
• Drive-in Volcano & Botanical Gardens. On this fascinating excursion, visit the world’s only drivein volcano. The Pitons are the visible, emblematic parts of the volcanic complex. But there’s actually another part, the Qualibou caldera, that we can drive right into. The volcano is extinct, but mud still bubbles and sulfurous steam floats in the air in this otherworldly spot. Next, explore the lush gardens of the Morne Coubaril Historical Park. Learn about the area’s rich history and immerse yourself in the beautiful landscapes. And gain practical knowledge, too: discover the traditional methods of de-husking coconuts and extracting fresh cane juice. (Moderate)

• Swim and Snorkel. Unwind on the golden sands of a Soufriere Bay beach, soaking in breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The crystal-clear waters — filled with a kaleidoscope of vibrant marine life — are ideal for swimming or snorkeling. (Moderate)

Return to the ship for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure as the ship departs St. Lucia and sails for Grenada.

Day 6 | Friday, February 6 – ST. GEORGE, GRENADA B | L | D
Wake this morning to breakfast and stunning views as the ship arrives at St. George, Grenada. This island is home to verdant rainforests, beautiful beaches and aromatic spice plantations and cocoa farms.

Traveler’s Choice | Choose ONE of the following included excursions
• Nature Hike. Today, hike the Morne Gazo trail, which climbs through serene rain forest. This steep trail leads to the summit of a conical hill — with an elevation of 1,140 ft — where a lookout platform has been built. From here you will get one of the best views in the Caribbean. (Active)
• A Taste of Grenada. Visit Laura Herb and Spice Garden, a botanical garden focused on medicinal herbs and spices. Tour the grounds with a private guide and learn about the fascinating trees, herbs and spices grown here, including coconut, nutmeg, mace, allspice, cinnamon, vanilla, turmeric and cloves. (Moderate)

Return to the ship for lunch on board. Spend the afternoon at leisure on the ship as we sail for Bonaire.

Day 7 | Saturday, February 7 – DAY AT SEA B | L | D
Spend today at your leisure, doing whatever you like. You could focus on sailing — there will be plenty of opportunities to watch the dedicated crew hoisting sails, climbing the rigging and untying ropes. There will be fascinating lectures to attend, and three delicious meals to eat. And of course, time to delight in the beautiful views gliding by.

Day 8 | Sunday, February 8 – KRALENDIJK, BONAIRE B | L | R | D
Enjoy breakfast on board this morning as the ship arrives in Bonaire, one of the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao), which are part of the Netherlands. The island’s geography is varied, ranging from forested green hills to desert-like salt pans dotted with cacti and flocks of pink flamingos. Bonaire also boasts rocky cliffs, mangrove forests and a long offshore coral reef that makes it a famous destination for scuba divers.

Traveler’s Choice | Choose ONE of the following included excursions
• Gotomeer Lagoon. Gotomeer is a saltwater lagoon near the island’s northern end known for its flamingo population. Bonaire is one of the few places in the world where pink flamingos still nest. Bring along your binoculars and cameras as you search for the shy, leggy birds. Between January and June, they can be seen building their nests out of mud and straw— an activity both males and females engage in — and tending to their gray-plumed young. (Mild)
• Snorkeling at Klein Bonaire. Klein Bonaire is a small, uninhabited islet off the coast of Bonaire. With beautiful beaches, clear water and a profusion of colorful marine life, this islet is the perfect spot for diving and snorkeling. (Active)
