Club of Delaware: Virtual Talk and Live Cooking Demonstration by Tyler Akin, Chef-Partner at Le Cavalier

Join Tyler Akin, chef-partner of Le Cavalier (Le Cav), for a Virtual Cooking Class on Sunday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m. The celebrated chef and restaurateur behind beloved Philadelphia restaurants Stock and Res Ipsa Cafe, Akin has returned to his hometown of Wilmington to helm Le Cav. Opened in September 2020, Le Cav is an approachable, lively French brasserie at the historic Hotel Du Pont.

After a brief introduction, Akin will lead a guided cooking demonstration of a signature dish at Le Cav, short rib bourguignon. Registered participants will have the choice to either purchase their own ingredients in advance of the event (list to be provided upon registration) or purchase a pre-assembled ingredient package directly from Le Cav.

Please register in advance by Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 12pm, by emailing metamorphMD@gmail.com. If you also wish to reserve and purchase an ingredient package, please indicate this in the email and instructions for purchase will follow. Each $60 package serves two and can be ordered in an amount that suits your family size. Orders must be picked up directly from Le Cav on Saturday, Jan. 30, between the hours of 3-6 p.m.

Please note: no purchase is necessary to attend this event.
