Club of Chicago: Men’s Basketball vs DePaul and Happy Hour

Hello Chicago Hoyas,

Next week your Georgetown Hoyas Men’s Basketball team is visiting Chicago to play DePaul at the Wintrust Center. We will be hosting a pregame party at Fatpour Tap Works (2206 S Indiana Ave, Chicago, IL 60616), which is across the street from the arena. The Georgetown McDonough Alumni Ambassadors has purchased a block of 20 tickets in section 111/112.

Last month’s poll showed that at least 15 people were interested in the pregame event and the game, so let’s show our team some love and cheer them on!

Another insight form the poll was that people are interested in participating in some Outdoor Curling. Answer this month’s poll to tell us what dates you could participate or suggest other events.

All attendees for in-person events must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or attest to having a religious or medical exemption. Attendees who attest to having an exemption or who are under the age of 12 will need to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event and provide their negative test results. Attendees must show proof of vaccination (either print or digital) or negative test results when checking in at the event. In addition, attendees must continue to comply with Georgetown public health guidelines as they evolve, as well as CDC, local, state, and venue guidelines at the location of this event.

In the spirit of cura personalis, the University requires that event participants follow certain health and safety measures, which may vary depending on the nature of the event, in order to help protect the health and safety of all participants. While the University is taking steps to mitigate the risks to event participants, the University cannot guarantee a COVID-19 free environment or eliminate the chance of infection and the health risks associated with it. By participating in this event, you assume the risks involved. You may also be required to leave the event, if you fail to follow the required health and safety measures.
