Wabanaki Blues is a contemporary young adult crossover mystery featuring Mona Lisa LaPierre, a seventeen-year-old blues musician from Hartford, Connecticut whose parents send her to live with her Native American grandfather in the boondocks of New Hampshire, where she solves a cold case murder and a larger cosmic mystery. Each book in the trilogy contains a celestial and terrestrial mystery that brings Mona closer to understanding her place in the world.
