FLITE Program

The Future Leaders in Technology (FLITE) program gives Georgetown undergraduate students the chance to gain summer work experience in the technology sector.

The objective of FLITE is to create opportunities for Georgetown students across all undergraduate disciplines to become the next generation leaders at technology companies, startups, and nonprofits. Students engage in a 8-10 week paid summer internship at a technology firm in one of three locations: Silicon Valley, New York City, or Washington, D.C.

How does FLITE benefit students?

FLITE seeks to serve students that may not have access or resources to obtain technology-oriented internships and provides students with monetary assistance for travel, housing, and incidental costs (as relevant). Because of programs like FLITE, Georgetown students gain a greater understanding of the technology industry and the best alumni network around the world—a community that they will be a part of for a lifetime.

How can I host a FLITE internship?

Internships can be within any functional area such as product management, policy research, or market analysis and can be part of an existing internship program or created from scratch with the guidance of the Cawley Career Education Center. Ready to host a FLITE intern? Email us at alliances@georgetown.edu.

How can I support the FLITE Program?

Make a gift to support an undergraduate student for a technology-focused internship next summer!
