Title:23rd Annual GEMA Alumni Career Panel

On October 16, 2024, distinguished alumni offered career insights to students during the 23rd Annual Alumni Career Panel at the Wagner Alumni House on Georgetown’s Main Campus.

Students heard from Stephen Borelli (C’96) from USA TODAY, Caitlin Cleary (C’16) from Wavelength, Grant Stievater (B’22) from J.P. Morgan, Elizabeth Thomas (G’19) from ABC News, and Kaelin Brittin (L’20) from the Washington Commanders. The discussion was moderated by GEMA DC Co-Director Mitch Peyser (MBA’93).

The alumni provided helpful advice on how to get started in a career in the media and entertainment industries, what qualities are most valued, the role Georgetown can play, and the passion and curiosity that are necessary to achieve success.

Students asked questions during the panel discussion and engaged in informal conversation during a reception that immediately followed.
