Title:22nd Annual GEMA Alumni Career Panel

Distinguished alumni returned to Georgetown to offer career insights to students during the 22nd Annual Alumni Career Panel at the Wagner Alumni House.

Students heard from Shanae Dixon (C’18) from TikTok, Pete Forbes (C’08) from Alignment Grwoth, Elise Garofalo (C’12) from CNN, John Hodges (C’00) from Jax Media, and Jesus Rodriguez (SFS’19, L’22) from The Washington Post. The discussion was moderated by Mitch Peyser (MBA’93) from Time Life.

The alumni provided helpful advice on how to get started in a career in the media and entertainment industries, what qualities are most valued, the role Georgetown can play, and the passion and curiosity that are necessary to achieve success.

Students asked questions during the panel discussion and engaged in informal conversation during a reception that immediately followed.
