Travel Society

GUAA Travel Society offers programs to destinations around the world. Many of our adventures are led by faculty eager to share their expertise, making traveling with us a truly unique opportunity to learn and connect with fellow Hoyas, parents, and friends.

Pre-Travel Information

  • Travel Insurance

    The GUAA Travel Society highly recommends that all travelers have appropriate trip cancellation, baggage and traveler’s medical coverage when participating in any program. We encourage you to investigate your options and arrange for coverage. GUAA offers trip protection through our partnership with Marsh Insurance.

  • Traveler’s Health Information

    We recommend that all travelers check with their primary care physician before embarking on any journey to make sure that you are up to date with all of your required vaccinations and inoculations. For the latest health recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control website

  • Passports

    Please make sure that your passport is up to date before embarking on any international journey with GUAA Travel Society. Most countries require that your passport be valid for at least 6 months after your arrival date. Double check your expiration date to make sure you don’t need to renew your passport before you depart for your trip. US Citizens should visit the U.S. State Department’s website for information about passport applications and renewals.
