Coaching Style

Kate Miller (SCS’12) is a values-based coach. She helps clients use the process of coaching as an evolution of skills, talent-awareness, goals for a lifetime or for right now. Attentive listening is key because people want to be valued and being valued means someone heard you. I strive to instill trust, respect, and collaboration into the coaching relationship so that the client can decide how strict, disciplined, or easy-going their approach to goal achievement will be. I provide resources, off-appointment support via text or email, and space to explore who you are, who you are becoming, and your lasting impact.

Meet Kate

As a widow, a mom to two teens, a small-business entrepreneur, and continual learner, I have become a master of appreciating the complexity of a life. The supportive nature of coaching is what allowed me to sort through questions, ideas, and find peace in the decisions I needed to make for my life. My personal value is helping a client find what works for their life.

Kate is a graduate of the Christian Coach Institute and holds an ICF PCC credential. She is part of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) ethics committee, routinely talking about the intersection of ethics and coaching. This work makes use of her MALS in ethics from Georgetown University. She also holds an M.A. in counseling psychology from Argosy University and is LINC personality assessment certified. Kate completed her Ed.D. in leadership and organizational innovation from Marymount University with a focus on developing the introverted emerging leader using coaching to accelerate career development.

When she is coaching or facilitating, she is at tennis matches, the karate do-jo, or the vet with either the cat or dog, and working through that imperfect work/life balancing act.

Flexible rates starting at $500 a month, 15% discount for Georgetown alumni, 5% additional for GOLD alumni
