The picnic is a family event and children of all ages are welcome. Let’s have a BIG send-off for our Oregon matriculants and their families.

Per tradition, the picnic will be potluck-style. We ask that individuals whose last name ends in A to H (as in HOYA!) bring a sweet treat or dessert, and individuals whose last name ends in I to Z being a savory side dish or salad. The Club will provide a protein entrée.

One incoming first-year student in attendance will be randomly selected to receive the Thomas M. King, S.J. Memorial Book Scholarship in the amount of $250. The Georgetown Club of Pittsburgh gives out this award in memory of Father Tom King, a Pittsburgh native and Jesuit who taught theology at Georgetown for over 30 years.
