Learn how Georgetown faculty and alumni founded many great Jesuit schools like Boston College and Holy Cross; how the oldest colleges in California, Missouri, Alabama, and elsewhere have Georgetown ties; and how some Jesuit colleges far from DC awarded degrees in Georgetown’s name. Learn why, to this day, many Jesuit schools still use blue and gray as their school colors and use the word “Hoya” in their fight songs.
