DESCRIPTION:Friday\, March 31\, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday\, April 2nd\, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.\nSilent Weekend Retreat for men and women on Ignatian Spirituality.\nTheme is “Spiritual Decisions” \nLed by Fr. Steve Pugliese\, S.J. COED Retreat Sponsored Joseph M. Byrne\, Georgetown Alumni\, St. Christopher\, St. Rose of Lima-Short Hills \nEvery day we make decisions about many things\, most are not terribly consequential. Some decisions in our lives do have consequences\, often lasting\, even lifelong consequences such as the decision to marry\, the decision of our career path or where to live. But the most consequential decisions we make are spiritual decisions. They make all the difference in how we relate to God\, to our own selves and to others. Until we make them\, we tend to drift through life at the mercy of so many forces beyond our control.  \nOur retreat will focus on four necessary spiritual decisions we must make if we hope to lead truly Christian lives. Unless and until we make them\, our spiritual journey never actually begins\, and no other journey in our lives is more important than our spiritual journey. But until we actually make that decision\, nothing really changes. Join us as we explore the nature of these spiritual decisions\, how we can make them and what often stands in our way. \nhttps://loyola.org/retreat-registration \nSince opening its doors for retreats in 1927\, Loyola has successfully adopted a Free Will Offering approach of accepting donations of any size for its retreats. These donations are the primary source of revenue for Loyola and will help us sustain our operations during this time of crisis.  Limited financial resources should not prevent anyone from making a retreat. No one is ever turned away because they cannot afford it.  The suggested Free Will Offering for a weekend retreat is $350.  We are asking for a $50 non-refundable deposit to register for all retreats due to many cancellations. You may offer this deposit either through a credit card or e-check. If you prefer not to give the deposit online you can email retreathouse@loyola.org or call Majella at  973-539-0740.
