SUMMARY:Club of Mexico City: A Monetary and Fiscal History of Latin America
DESCRIPTION:Dear Alumni\, \nWe hope summer is going well. \nWe are pleased to extend this invitation to join us on August 26th at the ITAM for a conversation about the book: A Monetary and Fiscal History of Latin America\, 1960–2017 (2021). Alejandro Werner founding director of the Georgetown Americas Institute will be joining this conversation. \nWe look forward to seeing you there. \nTo register\, please use the QR code below or email: fabiola.bustamante@itam.mx. \nHoya Saxa! \nAll attendees for in-person events must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or attest to having a religious or medical exemption. Attendees who attest to having an exemption or who are under the age of 12 will need to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event and provide their negative test results. Attendees must show proof of vaccination (either print or digital) or negative test results when checking in at the event. In addition\, attendees must continue to comply with Georgetown public health guidelines as they evolve\, as well as CDC\, local\, state\, and venue guidelines at the location of this event. \nCOVID-19 is a serious disease\, resulting potentially in illness\, hospitalization\, and even death. Our first priority is the health and safety of our event participants. In the spirit of cura personalis\, the University requires that event participants follow certain health and safety measures\, which may vary depending on the nature of the event\, in order to help protect the health and safety of all participants. While the University is taking steps to mitigate the risks to event participants\, the University cannot guarantee a COVID-19 free environment or eliminate the chance of infection and the health risks associated with it. By participating in this event\, you assume the risks involved. You may also be required to leave the event\, if you fail to follow the required health and safety measures.
