DESCRIPTION:Join the Georgetown Alumni Club of Metro Atlanta for a special evening out to the Fox Theatre to see the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. \nOrchestra-level tickets are being provided for a discounted rate of $20/ticket and include access to a pre-show happy hour mixer at the nearby El Viñedo Local. \nMixer starts at 6:00pm and show at 7:30pm. We hope to see you there.  \nPlease note there are a limited number of discounted tickets being sold. \nAbout Alvin Ailey Jr: Alvin Ailey Jr. was an American dancer\, director\, choreographer\, and activist who founded the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (AAADT). He created AAADT as a haven for nurturing Black artists and expressing the universality of the African-American experience through dance. A gay man\, his work fused theater\, modern dance\, ballet\, and jazz with Black vernacular\, creating hope-fueled choreography that continues to spread global awareness of Black life in America.
