This lecture tells the fascinating story of how the Jesuits built one of the largest and most successful college networks in the country\, and how Georgetown made that growth possible. Learn how Georgetown faculty and alumni founded many great Jesuit schools like Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount; how the oldest colleges in California\, Missouri\, Alabama\, and elsewhere have Georgetown ties; and how some Jesuit colleges far from DC awarded degrees in Georgetown’s name.
