Friderike is a serial entrepreneur with extensive management experience in the hospitality and IT sector. Leadership coach, who enjoys traveling and bridging cultural gaps with curiosity. She has a passion for new adventures and life-long learning. Born and raised in Wiesbaden, Germany, Friderike has been residing in the Washington, DC area since 1991. Friderike's work focuses on bridging leadership gaps by providing professional development services to small and mid-size companies in combination with executive coaching. Individual coaching clients, who have benefited greatly from working with Friderike, have been facing leadership challenges, underperformance and misalignment in leadership teams as well as upward career transitions, in particular moving from project management to first leadership assignments. Strengths assessments and deep exploration of motivation and belief systems are often part of the co-created self-discovery journey leading to heightened self-awareness, confident decision making skills and a noticeable improvement of interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills at work as well as in personal settings. The inner work coupled with effective, practical tools forms a strong foundation for progressive and positive leadership development that is heart-centered and people-focused. A B.I.S. degree in Intercultural Management and Communication from George Mason University and a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership (ICF accredited at ACC level) as well as a full suite of assessment certifications further inform and brighten her work and curiosity around culture, the power of words, and positive psychology.
